The challenge. South Caicos is being developed as a growing gateway in the Turks & Caicos, and the airport needed a departures baggage system that could move bags reliably while meeting international hold-baggage screening requirements. Space is tight in a smaller terminal, so the equipment had to fit the building while integrating conveyors and X-ray screening into a single, seamless line.

What Caribe Service delivered. Caribe Service designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned a baggage handling system integrated with a Rapiscan X-ray screening unit. The scope covered the check-in and conveyor line, integration of the security screening equipment into the baggage flow, installation, commissioning, and testing — delivering a complete, ready-to-operate system rather than separate parts.
